One of A Kind Totebag / Nashville, TN (Limited to 1)

September 30th, 2021. A show in Nashville I will never forget.

I played in Cody's backyard. It was a cool night and the yard was beautifully lit up. A few songs into the set I got a very low blood sugar and had to take an intermission. This is the only time this has ever happened to me in 30 years of touring. I stood in a dark corner of the yard and drank a coke while I came back to my senses.

I got back to playing. About four songs later everyone in attendance started gasping. Everyone was witnessing something behind me and everyone was staring up into the heavens in disbelief.

I stopped playing and turned to look up at the sky and saw a space object coming into our atmosphere at an alarming speed. Maybe a ship. Or a rocket? We all were very quiet for a full minute. We all literally thought an alien was visiting or maybe WW3 started.

Someone in the crowd said "Tough act to follow" and we all died laughing.

We were all stunned. I can't speak for everyone there but my brain was buzzing for the rest of the night.

In the morning I woke up to a text from my pal Simon. He discovered that it was simply a Spacex rocket from Mr. Musk that was landing in the Gulf of Mexico but went right across Nashville on it's way down to earth.
